Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Brian trained as an orthopaedic surgeon and has over seven years clinical experience in trauma & orthopaedic surgery. His ankle TightRope has become a worldwide success. Brian holds an MBA from Trinity College, Dublin and in 2007 founded SOTA Orthopaedics to bring further innovations to market.
 

 
Keith Thompson

Keith Thompson

Director

Keith has 20 years experience in medical sales. He has worked with leading multinationals including Pharmacia & UpJohn, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. Keith has joined SOTA Orthopaedics to develop and launch innovative medical devices to the global orthopaedic market.

 

 
Declan Kennedy

Declan Kennedy

Director

Declan is a qualified accountant and also holds a MBA from Trinity College, Dublin. Declan has held senior roles with Barclays Capital and AIB Corporate Banking and is also highly experienced in early stage company management.  He brings to the board expertise in all forms of financial management from early stage companies through to corporate M&A.

 

 
Eoin Gannon

Eoin Gannon

Regulatory Affairs Manager

Eoin holds an Honours degree in Biotechnology and has worked in both the biopharmaceutical and medical devices industries. Eoin has in-depth knowledge of the ISO and FDA medical device regulations, and a has been involved in a number of successful audits including ISO and FDA. Eoin joined SOTA to develop and maintain the company's quality system and to gain regulatory approval for the X-Bolt™ and O-Jig™.

 

 
Ross McDonald

Ross McDonald

Biomedical / Design Engineer
Ross graduated from Mechanical Engineering in UCD in 2008 with a 1st Class Honours Degree. He has joined SOTA as a Biomedical/Design Engineer to develop and launch the X-Bolt™ onto the market. He is engaged in design, testing and verification of the X-Bolt™ in collaboration with Queens University, Belfast as part of the InterTrade Ireland Fusion programme.
